Declaration of Learning Independence

I hope this class will teach me not only how to write, but to utilizie each skill we learn, not only in school but in everyday life as well. In most classes we learn things that dont really apply to our everyday life. I want this to be different. This class has already taught me how to easily manage my time. Normal classrooms don't expand beyond the classroom, but our class expands beyond that. I dont want to sit in class for fifty minutes not taking anything in, I want to walk out knowing I have learned something helpful. I want to be something, be someone with value and I believe this class will help me become just that.
